Hi.

Im living in the halls at Uni and so obviously i cant change the environment. My girlfriend bought me a plant the other day and i really don't want it to die because that probably wouldn't look so good!!

The label said it was a foliage plant and it had PALM on the side of the pot. I help my grandparents alot in their garden but really have no idea what i am doing so any help would be greatly appriciated!! I got an A in adv biology last year so i know the general needs of the plant but any extra help on keeping it (and me!) alive please!!

hi Jayson,
could you post a pic of your plant so we know what kind of palm it is? then we might be able to you better. actually, i shouldn't say "we" as my palms all look like, um, not so great, hee hee, so somebody else might be able to help.
