phoenix Figured I better get on the right forum.I'm glad dieffenbachia's (is there a shorter word for them?)are good for indirect lite as that is all I get in the winter. However that daytime temp. of 75-85 is no-go for my apt. Would that be why the leaves are turning yellow/brown?

I don't think so. You mentioned before you thought it may have been overwatered. I think that's what may have caused the leaves to do that. My brother in law has a umbrella tree that he wraps a towel around the pot I'm not sure if that would work for you to raise the temp or not. I guess it depends on how big the pot is

The leaves on mine tend to do that when I accidentally over water.
