I have many geraniums which I'd like to retain for the next year. I live on the Pacific ocean at about 45° North latitude—a very temperate climate. My geraniums survive the winter months with no problem. Unfortunately, they become very leggy and rangy looking. I'd like to know what I can do to make them presentable for Spring 2006.
Any constructive suggestions will be appreciated.

I love the sweet scents wafting in the breeze. I stop to admire the vibrant colors of all living things. And people think me odd. Then ODD I am!!!

hi DeJardin

just a thought, whilst pruning, take lots and lots of cuttings...they are really easy to grow...even i can do it!! lol [Big Grin]

just make sure you make some sort of marker on the pot so you know what colour they are, and then you can either have even more geraniums next year, or give them away to friends and relatives...im sure they would be really grateful...especially when you've grown them yourself [Embarrassed]

take care,

bye
Mrs.D.
