Pardon me if I mis-spelled it - it's not one of my best woids, eh?
We had to rescue this thing on Thursday - it started bending over and I suspect it's cause it was growing into the ceiling.
We took it into the laundry room, tied it up, added a bit of soil to it and will bring it back out to the lobby of the building in a couple of days.
My question - it will no longer be on the shelf in the corner seeing as how it has grow out of that space.
The only place I can think of is in the corner where the windows meet. There is a roof over the entrance that will shade it to some extent but it will be bright out there.
Will it have too much light?

well, i'd cut the top off about 8 inches below the lowest leaf and pot that up, then grow babies from the bottom... that is what i did to the one at work and now we have 3 babies coming from the bottom and the top never even really "nodded"

I like this idea - I read it and immediately marched Jeff (who has been tending to the plant for the past year) out to the laundry room to show him what you meant.
He is horrified at the thought of taking the top off. I agreed we'd wait till it grows too tall again.
We're going to keep an eye on it - it gets moved back into the lobby on Monday morning. I'll talk Jeff into the surgery, you can bet.
Might even 'force' the issue, if ya' know what I mean.

Grand idea! I, as always, am doing my 'before and afters' too.
The Deif was moved to the lobby this morning - Jeff put it in front of the rad (the pot's tall enough, I think, that it won't affect it).
I set a cup-full of water under it to see that it gets some humidity.
Jeff has a leaf and part of the stock stuck in the bottom.
It looks pretty good - maybe Jeff knew what he was doin' - ha! Shows ta' go ya', eh?
I'll get another picture up in a couple of days.
You know the funny thing is, I don't even like deiffenbacca - never liked it. It's poisonous, for one thing and there are few places I can keep it cause of that critter of mine and other people's small dogs.
We've got one little piece of work by the name of Rusty - you know, the kind that looks like a small mop. Well, he comes rippin' through the lobby with his owner a few times a day - sniffs everything over, of course.
And there's 'Ears'. He's a mini-doberman. His real name is Chico - I just call him 'Ears' cause they're so big.
I didn't like the varmint when the lady brought him here to live, but Ears and I good pals now.
Both dogs get on well with our cat Skitter. Skitter doesn't know dogs are the enemy - not yet.
Anyway, I don't want to take a chance on the animals having a lick at this plant - if I think that's going to happen, I'm moving it into the office where the door is closed.
