Any one do grape vines? Mine are oldies and junky like ..Just a few grapes .. I know when to cut them off. But how does one get them full of grapes again and not with black rot? Any know/ Thanks ..this place is neat.

I don't have the grape-grape vines, I have muscadines (coon grapes) I trim every year & have a plentiful harvest. They make the best jelly.

I like the muscadines ...and the best time to prune them is in the fall/late fall if pruned every year, they will produce abundantly, some of the prunings can be using to start new vines also.

I forgot to say.. My brand of grapes.. Is Concord. Catalogs told us they are the best..Ha ha........ What type is Oregans? All I know is my grape jelly is much sot after.. Maybe GARDENHELPER can help us out?
