Any one do grape vines? Mine are oldies and junky like ..Just a few grapes .. I know when to cut them off. But how does one get them full of grapes again and not with black rot?

I would think pruning would do the trick. I looked into grapes but decided on blueberries instead/first.

I don't have the grape-grape vines, I have muscadines (coon grapes) I trim every year & have a plentiful harvest. They make the best jelly.

I like the muscadines ...and the best time to prune them is in the fall/late fall if pruned every year, they will produce abundantly, some of the prunings can be using to start new vines also.
