Aloe and jade are not closely related at all. They belong to different plant families on different sides of a major division in plant classification. Jade (Crassula ovata in Latin) is placed in the family Crassulaceae and is a dicot. Aloe, all 450+ species of them, are in family Asphodelaceae/Liliaceae, and are monocots. Hope that helps.

I don't think so, but go ahead and try! Many plants can't fertilize outside their species, most can't outside their genus, you're looking at a major difference, it probably won't work, but if you get viable seed, I want some!!!
