i may have over watered my new aloe. i read here they don't need much this time of year. just grin and bear it or any remedy for now. thank you.

The one thing that I do if I have really gotten a plant way to wet is either put a big old towel under the drainage hole and it will act as a wick and suck up quite a bit of it. The other option is to take it out of the pot, (this works best if the plant has lots of roots and will hold together well out of the pot and I wrap the soil first with paper towel and then with a bath towel and again let it wick up the water.
