We're looking for a hardy low growing perennial border for the length of our lot line. It gets sun for a majority of the day. 6hrs.+ We are looking for lots of color all summer.
Thanks for any help anyone can give us. [wayey] [gabby] Greg [dunno] [angel]

Hi Greg,
How low do you want this border to be?

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

Hi Greg,
Wow, 4 inches! Miniature plants come to mind. Here's two sites that should be fun to look at.

For your zone you might also want to consider alpine plants.

Many groundcovers are also short in stature. Here's a place with some interesting stuff.

Have fun!
