Hi all. I have a question about my calla lily plant. I've never grown one before, and I just got one this spring. I've kept it in a pot outdoors for the entire summer, and it did wonderful! (it's huge!) Anyways, since I live in Northern Minnesota, it gets pretty darn cold in the winter here, and the woman at the greenhouse told me to dig it up in early winter, and store it in a bag in a cool dry place. Do I need to do this, or can I just leave it in the pot over winter? Also, the old flowers now have grown into small, hard, bulb-looking things. Can I store these over winter too, and plant them in the spring?? I guess I'm just a little lost as to what to do with this. I need help! Any tips that you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated!

You may leave it in the pot in a cool place, basement, or anywhere that doesn't reach freezing for extended periods, HELLO from Kenyon Minnesota And WELCOME to the Garden Helper!
