I'm wondering if the andromeda I planted last spring is dead. There seems to be no new growth, and the leaves are bronze colored and dessicated. I'm in Zone 5b, it was planted in full sun, I don't know the variety of Andromeda.

Thanks

Andromeda, or Pieris, do better in the shade than in sun, especially in the winter. They also need plenty of moisture, especially if planted in a sunny location. It sounds like yours may be dead, but you might try moving it to a shadier spot and watering it well.
