Hello,does anyone have any advise on how to get rid of tomato worms?

The only way I have heard, once you see the worms is to don your gloves and hand pick them. But before you see the worms, there is a preventative and organic spray called BT that kills caterpillars etc.

That's what I would have said, what fjcancel said.
I'm a hand picker in pretty much all of my catagories. (Japenese beetles, I know that can be a daunting task)(and cucumber beetles.....I am looking for an ORGANIC way for those......but we'll see if that exists!!!)

For hand picking, once you realize you have them, the first checking is probly the longest to look.
But once you do, then it's a couple of seconds each time you're in the garden, picking veggies...
How many did you have???

Did you get a good crop of tomatoes/??
Mine, believe it or not, are just starting to come in. I planted late though...............

Hello,
Thanks for the info guys. I was actually asking for a friend. She did manage to get some good tomatoes out of whole mess! She spoke with someone who offered similiar advise to I guess it all worked out. She has given me quite a few tomatoes this summer! Home grown are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!
