My lemon bush puts out loads of blossoms snd starts to grow fruit, but when the fruit gets about 1/4" in size they all turn black and fall off. I think this is called postbloom fruit drop but I can't find any way to treat it.

I'm haveing lemon tree problems too mine is its not getting blooms or produceing fruit.we just bought property in feb she said it never bloomed(property vacant for 2 yrs)neighbors said it had lemons just about all season last year and were almost the size of grapefruits.I had cut all bad wood out one being center cane I guess and all the rest seem to be growing out of center cane.but in my search do know fruit will turn black and fall off if not treated in spring or fall with neem oil just know the neem oil prevents fruit from turning black or getting brown spots and prevents scale on leaves.don't know about spraying in Calif but if you called your county extension office they would know
