Welcome to The Garden Helper snowpeak! What a great name you picked. Our Head guru(Bill)is from Washington. Have you gone through his gallery of pix....there are several pix of Washington! I am jealous.....it is a great piece of heaven.
If you repeat your ? under the heading plants and flowers you may get a response sooner. Some people who specialize in those areas sometimes don't wonder to other sections....so if you could please repost your ? that would be great.
There will be several people coming through to greet you here. Welcome and have a great day!
Do you live anywhere near Bill?
Maybe you could post some of your do's and don'ts of quilting in the craft and hobby section. I am just learning to crochet and after this I will be starting on quilting.

I have several butterfly bushes for many years now, and find they are very easy plants. I prune them back to about 18 inches (some like to prune even more - like to 12) at the end of March sometimes April depending on how severe the winter is that year. This encourages new growth in the spring, instead of in the fall in case we get a warm spurt. I did have to cut back one that was taking over my front steps a few weeks ago, and have noticed new growth on those stems. Not a good idea for going into winter with snow and freezing temps.
What kind of butterfly bushes do you have? I have white, yellow, lilac, pink, and a darker purple. This past summer I was surprised to find butterfly bush babies coming up all over my yard - not just near the bushes. This was the first time in 10 years that I have seen this. I had many to give away to happy friends.
What else do you grow? Houseplants also? Have a fun time here - I look forward to reading your posts~
