I just put out last week several seed grown tomato plants. All have the bottom leaves turning a pale white and I'm wondering if I didn't harden them off enough or maybe it has been too cold. I was out of town last week....we are just outside of Cleveland and I've never experienced this. Will they make it?

We had very heavy rain and a cold front pass through Illinois within the past couple of weeks. I'm sure all that weather headed east toward Cleveland and to the East coast. Could it be the combination of a lot of rain followed by cold weather? Northern Illinois got down in the upper 30's a couple of days ago.

It has definitely been cooler this past week, and as always overcast. Evening temps are low 40s with upper 50 to 65 during days.
