i HAVE SO MANY TOMATOES GETTING RIPE AT THE SAME TIME. OUR FAMILY IS SMALL SO THERE IS ALREADY AN ABUNDANCE OF THESE "GARDENER'S APPLES". I LIKE TO CAN SO IF YOU HAVE A QUICK AND EASY RECIPE (WITH MINIMAL ADDITIVES) PLEASE SEND IT ON TO ME AS I'D HATE FOR THIS BLESSING TO GET TO A ROTTING PHASE.

I'D ACTUALLY PREFER TO CAN THESE TOMATOES SO I CAN HAVE SOMETHING FOR THE WINTER BUT WHAT EASY RECIPE CAN YOU SHARE WITH ME? (HOT WATER CANNING - NOT PRESSURE COOKER CANNING)

sometimes i just remove the skin and seeds, put them in freezer bags and freeze them this seems to work well if you are in a hurry and if you have freezer space.

That's what I do too Iowa.....hot water blanche them, peel them, and pop them in the freezer. Can't get any easier than that!
