can anyone tell me if aloe vera plants grow better in a specific type of pot? I have one that is about 2 yrs old in a plastic pot but when the plant starts to gow and rest on to the upper lip of the pot....he breaks off...hes growing fine as far as upwardss goes...just when it comes into contact with the pot it breaks.Do they not like plastic? jwlswtgrl@yahoo.com

Terra cotta pots have somewhat wider, smoother edges than plastic pots, so they tend to cut into the fleshy leaves a bit less.
