Can anyone tell me why my Bird of Paradise has only bloomed once in the last six years. Does anyone have info on it in general.

Hi Grodi...

Bird of Paradise like to be rather root bound....and a bit neglected to blooms well. Don't fertilize too much as that will cause lots of lush green growth and not flowers.
