Let's see---a couple of annuals that are easy to grow are morning glories and the cardinal vine. Both are very pretty. A couple of perennials are the passin flower vine, which are purple or white, and fragrant. Also, sweet autumn clematis which is also scented. I have them both.I have the passion vine in a pot as it dies back in the winter and then pops up again somewhere else. That's okay if you like surprises every year.
When i put up more fencing, I will plant it in the ground. Enjoy!!

To add to the above suggetions, you could try trumpet vine (perennial) or moon vine (annual.) There are also several vines that don't flower.
