Cut chicken into 1/2 inch strips.Place in large resealable plastic bag.combine 1 egg,1 cup of buttermilk 1 1/2 teas.garlic powder.Pour over chicken strips seal and refrigerate for 2-4 hours.In another large plastic bag(gallon size) 1 cup flour,1 cup season bread crumbs,1 teas. salt and 1 teas. baking powder. Drain chicken,discarding buttermilk mixture.Place chicken in bag with flour mixture,seal and shake to coat.Electric skillet 375 fry chicken in oit for 5 minutes or until golden brown.Drain on paper towels and enjoy!

That chicken sounded pretty good!!!

I bake mine when I've done the strip's also for
a different taste to it....
But I've never tried the buttermilk!!!
Sounds tastey!!


I love home made french fries when I do the deepfried chicken too!!!

I am going to make your chicken finger recipe for dinner tonight...my 7 year old daughter LOVES chicken fingers:) She could live on them if I would let her. Thanks so much for sharing your recipe, sounds really good:)
