Nutritional & Thrifty Recipies

Sugar Cookies

8 Servings of 3 cookies each

1/3 cup Margarine
2/3 cup Powdered sugar
2 Eggs
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1 cup Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/8 tsp Baking soda

1. Preheat oven to 375F.

2. Mix margarine and powdered sugar together thoroghly.

3. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat until blended. Add dry ingredients and blend well.

4. Shape dough into 24 1 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Crisscross balls by using fork prongs.

5. Bake until lightly brown, about 10 minutes.
