I make a chocolate cake, with chocolate frosting and a can of pie filling cherries on top,
*(any variety or brand name to your liking.)*
Very decadant, very chocolatey, and YUMMIE!!
And if you're looking to dress it up for a nicer dinner party, some home grown sprigs of mint in a few strategic places ads a nice touch!

Sounds yummy, a simple cake to make and the hit of any childs party is an ice cream cake. I just make a cake from a brownie recipe, cool and set aside. Than soften up some ice cream and pack in the same size pan (lined with plastic wrap) and freeze. Put the ice cream layer on the bottom, smother with sundae sauce and crushed up chocolate bar (any variety, kids here love Skor)then add the brownie cake, icing with whip cream and store back in the freezer. Just take it out 15 min before you cut it. These cakes can last in the freezer for months. I usually make 4 or 5 at a time and just put the final writing on them when i take them to a childs party.
