1 1/2 to 2 lbs of steak (a cheaper cut)
juice of 1/4 lemon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic
2 green peppers sliced thin
1 medium onion, sliced thin
1/2 cup water

Rub steaks with lemon juice. Sprinkle both sides with the salt, pepper, garlic. Place in shallow pan. Lay sliced peppers and onions on top of steaks. Add 1/2 cup water and cover with tin foil. Bake in a 225F over for 2 hours.

Yield: 2 servings
