WOW normally I'm really warm blooded but tonight I got chilly and couldn't shake it, even after a hot bath. I called my daughter and she told me to make myself a cup of Snowman's Soup! I'd forgotten all about that> last time I had it was when my Daughters were in middle school But she says she makes it often for her sons. SNOWMAN's SOUP 1 Coffee Mug filled 3/4 full of HOT water 1 individual pkg instant hot chocolate a few minature marshmellows a few chocolate chips 1 candy cane to stir 1/2 jigger Kahlua'(okay I used a full jigger) SHHHH DON"T TELL ANYONE!!! (& NO the kids don't get kahlua'LOL) Stir and Blend well with candy cane Make sure it not too hot Bottoms up and melt away the chill!

And amaretto, and bourbon and coke, and good wine. Tonight though, while I watched my movie, I drank some of Anchor Brewery's holiday ale. It was good, reminded me of porter. I don't think that would have worked very well in Snowman's soup though.

Angel... when my husband and I lived in Reno, we would take a thermos of hot chocolate and Kahlua with us when we went cross country skiing up at Lake Tahoe. What a terrific treat we had while looking at the views of the lake from up there!
Peppermint Schnapps is another great one to put in hot chocolate!
