potatoes to fill a medium casserole dish, peeled and sliced

1 stick butter
salt to taste
1/3 c. flour
2-3 cups milk (or there abouts)

put potatoes in casserole dish, set aside.
melt butter in pan on med heat. salt to taste. stir in flour until totally mixed. add milk while stirring. when completely mixed, pour over potatoes. microwave in stages for 2 sets of 3 in on high, 7 minutes on medium and 5 minutes on 70-80%. the times and temps will vary by the microwave. goes great with any kind of meat.
