As it says on the one recipe, they are not true clotted cream. I think you would need a PhD to make true clotted cream! I have heard it is very precise with bringing it to a certain temperature and doing all sorts of touchy steps. You can buy the stuff though and yes I bought my husband some of the kind with liquour flavors. It was good but not like the real English fresh kind. It looks like yellow not frozen ice cream and is the absolute richest stuff in the world! I had it before I went dairy free and it was almost too much! A little goes a long way. They make good ice cream there too.
