Does anyone have a recipe for carmelized veal shanks? My sister had some in a fancy restaurant once and said it was most delicious. We'd love a recipe to try....

Merme, while I don't have a recipe myself, maybe you could find a recipe at Epicurious.com I love that place. You gotta watch the reviews though. I tried one recipe that was "supposed" to be wonderful and we could hardly eat it!! LOL I pay a little more attention to the ingredient list now....sometimes the combination of different things can taste kind of nasty.
