Okay, so I made this for Xmas to take to a friends house--and in Feb when my brother came. I was asked to share the recipe and it totally slipped my mind until now. It's VERY easy to make...... [thumb]

3 squares of Semi Sweet Baking Chocolate(I used Bakers brand, melted
1/4 cup canned sweetened condensed milk
1 oreo pie crust(6 oz)--I had to use a graham crust because I couldn't find an oreo one, but it still tasted great.
1/2 cup chopped pecans(optional)--i didn't use any
2 cups cold milk
2 packages(4 serving size each) chocolate flavored instant pudding
1 tub of cool whip topping

Mix chocolate and condensed milk until well blended. Pour into crust. Sprinkle with pecans. Pour milk into large bowl and add pudding mixes. Beat with wire wisk for 2 minutes or until well blended(mixture will be thick). Spoon 1-1/2 cups of the pudding over pecans in crust. Add 1/2 of the whipped topping to remaining pudding. Stir with wire wisk until well blended. Spread over pudding in crust, top with remaining cool whip. Refrigerate for 3 hours--serves 10. Enjoy! [grin]

Do you melt the chocolate into the condensed milk or melt them first, or leave chocolate in hard pieces???

Weezie

LOL, weezie glad you caught that actually......after the 3 squares of chocolate it should say melted. I forgot to put it....so just melt it and mix it with the condensed milk. Sorry about that. [Embarrassed]

Winter Rosebudd, it has become one of my favorite things to make because it's so darn easy...you can shave a little chocolate to put on the very top too if you want...hope you like it!
