I like warm... not hot mind you, but warm. is that bottom one a joshua tree? i've been to the joshua tree national monument in ca.

Yep, thats a Joshua Tree, but I don't remember where we found it...
The other photos were taken at Bryce canyon National Park in Utah.

weezie, there are joshua trees all over the central west (the area bordering nevada). they are really interesting. the place i am refering to is just northeast of palm springs. about the only place to stay is in the palm springs area, but it is beautiful if you can get over the lack of green. there are ocotilla trees and such also.
