Mushrooms growing in my compost bin

It's fine. You just need to turn it more often. As the pile dries out the mushrooms will go away. They like it moist.

What all have you put in the compost,
just outta curiousity?????
I haven't ever had them growing in mine,
but I do get them growing in my front and
side lawn were trees have been taken down,
mulched, decomposing under the ground...
Basically as far as I know, it's just the
wood product decomposing...

It could be that I don't turn it enough. It's getting difficult for me because there's so much in there. I'm not all that strong.

It does need a bit of aeration...
and when it doesn't... things like the
woodchips will create mushrooms...or the like...

Mushrooms are a fungus. Fungus are right at home in a compost bin. They are normally a sign of present organic matter and that's a good thing!

Yep..I dump that last swig that even the biggest beer lovers don't care for. Beer has so many uses..gotta love it!
